YDEA is a national research, evaluation and technical assistance organization that helps schools and other youth-serving organizations improve their operations and programs so that youth experience high quality opportunities and supports.

Our work focuses on three specific tasks:

• Conducting applied research and evaluation studies to assess the effectiveness and impact of system-wide change efforts in school systems and in other community organizations

• Providing technical assistance and training designed to increase the organizational capacity of professionals to examine their practice, plan for changes in practice, implement changes, and assess the impact of those changes to youth

• Assessing organizational policy and operations to determine where changes may be needed to better support youth outcomes
